General Ledger (Batang, Central Java)

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and journal entries.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities accurately and on time.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts, bank statements, and intercompany transactions.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations.
• Monitor fixed assets, accruals, prepayments, and depreciation schedules.
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments to resolve accounting-related issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls.
• Perform other accounting and finance tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in General Ledger, Financial Accounting, or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP/Accounting systems (SAP, Oracle, Kingdee, or similar systems is an advantage).
• Good command of English (mandatory), Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to be based in Batang, Central Java.
