General Ledger Supervisor
Schedule: 2am to 11am | Tuesday - Saturday Work Days

Job Description:

• As our General Ledger (GL) Supervisor, you will be the driving force behind the daily operations of our core accounting functions. We are looking for a sharp, detail-oriented financial leader who goes beyond just managing numbers. In this pivotal role, you will safeguard the financial health of our organization by championing the absolute accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of our financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Review the day-to-day vendor invoice review performed by the GL Accountant to ensure theyare coded to the appropriate GL account and department and that the cost classification and accounting treatment are accurate.
• Review the monthly balance sheet account reconciliations in ARCS for GL accounts, such as Cash, Prepaids, Other Assets or Other Liabilities, ensuring accuracy and adherence to US GAAP.
• Review and approve manual journal entries submitted by the GL Accountant
• Support internal and external audit processes by providing documentation and explanations
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable, FP&A, and other departments
• Lead, mentor, develop and conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
• Assign tasks, set priorities, and monitor team performance
• Coordinate workload distribution to meet deadlines
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Other Finance projects and ad-hoc reporting as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA is a plus but not required
• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience
• At least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role
• Prior experience working in SaaS, BPO, or Shared Services industry is a plus.
• Thorough understanding of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
