Job Title: General Liability Adjuster – Commercial Lines (Construction Defect)

Opportunity

We are looking for a passionate General Liability Adjuster with construction defect claim experience to work with one of our TPA clients. This role will service general liability claims, including construction defect claims, in the US and its territories. We are a remote working environment and emphasize diversity and inclusion.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Formulate an action-driven and timely investigation plan, securing and documenting all relevant information.
• Working with coverage counsel to investigate, evaluate, and resolve construction defect claims involving residential and commercial projects, including multi-party and multi-carrier exposures.
• Work with coverage counsel to analyze construction contracts, subcontracts, indemnity provisions, and additional insured endorsements to determine coverage and risk transfer.
• Aggressively address tenders of defense and indemnity to subcontractors and their carriers.
• Work with coverage counsel to coordinate with experts, engineers, and consultants on site inspections, defect scoping, and repair cost estimates.
• Operate processes and ensure complete adherence to defined Service Level Agreements.

What You Bring

• Individual Independent Adjuster license in your home/designated home state, with the ability to obtain additional licenses as required within 60 days of hire.
• 3+ years of P&C insurance experience adjusting General Liability claims/ Property Damage of moderate complexity.
• Prior construction defect claims experience, including multi-party tenders, additional insured, and allocation.
• Ability to work in a high-production environment using various technology solutions to handle claims virtually.
