General Machinist Apprentice

We are committed to quality, innovation, and developing skilled trades professionals. We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a CNC Machinist Apprentice.

The CNC Machinist Apprentice will work under the guidance of experienced machinists to learn the setup, operation, and programming of CNC equipment while gaining hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in pursuing a career in the machining trade.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in setting up and operating CNC lathes, mills, and other machining equipment
• Measure and inspect parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Load materials and tooling into machines
• Perform routine machine maintenance and keep work areas clean and organized
• Monitor machining processes to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Support senior machinists with troubleshooting and process improvements.
• Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.
• Participate in apprenticeship training and complete required coursework.

Essential Skills:

• High School Diploma
• Reading Text
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong work ethic
• Valid drivers license
• Previous manufacturing or shop experience is an asset but not required
• Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching and kneeling
