Job Title: Maintenance Worker - Carousel Plaza Apartments, Cielo Vista Apartments, Hayes Apartments, Fairbanks Apartments and Highlander Apartments**

Location: El Paso, TX

Position Type: Full-Time

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Worker to join our team at Carousel Plaza . The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and functionality of the apartment complex, providing excellent service to residents, and maintaining a safe and clean environment. This role requires a combination of technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and strong customer service.

**Key Responsibilities:**

1. General Maintenance:

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliances.

• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents, addressing issues such as leaks, malfunctions, and other repairs.

• Ensure all maintenance work meets safety and quality standards.

2. Repairs and Troubleshooting:

• Diagnose and repair issues with electrical systems, plumbing, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning.

• Fix or replace damaged fixtures, appliances, and structural components as needed.

• Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance problems efficiently.

3. Preventative Maintenance:

• Conduct regular inspections of building systems and equipment to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems.

• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks on mechanical and electrical equipment.

4. Safety and Compliance:

• Ensure that all maintenance activities adhere to safety regulations and building codes.

• Maintain an organized and clean work area, including tools and equipment.

5. Customer Service:

• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, addressing concerns and ensuring their satisfaction with maintenance services.

• Communicate effectively with residents and management regarding maintenance issues and resolutions.

6. Documentation and Reporting:

• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and inspections.

• Report any significant issues or safety concerns to the property manager or supervisor.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in maintenance or a related field is preferred.

• Proven experience in general maintenance, repair work, or a similar role.

• Strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance procedures.

• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Good communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks, including lifting, bending, and climbing.

-Bilingual speaker is a plus : English/ Spanish

**Additional Requirements:**

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

• Availability for on-call or emergency maintenance as needed.

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays if required.
