General Maintenance

Fenix General Construction LLC is looking for experienced, dependable, and flexible workers to join our team on an on-call, as-needed basis. We provide a variety of services for apartment complexes, residential properties, and houses, including landscaping, property maintenance, construction, and renovations.

The type of work will depend on current projects and customer needs. This position is best suited for individuals who already have hands-on experience in these areas, can work independently, and are available when jobs come up.

Please note: This is not a position with a fixed weekly schedule. Work will be offered as projects and service requests become available. Applicants should be comfortable with an on-call arrangement and ideally have another part-time job or other flexible commitments that allow them to accept work when needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform landscaping and routine outdoor maintenance.
• Assist with residential and apartment property maintenance.
• Complete construction, repair, and renovation tasks based on project needs.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas.
• Use tools and equipment appropriate to the work being performed.
• Work independently and complete assigned tasks reliably.
• Communicate with the team regarding job assignments, availability, and project progress.
• Travel to different residential properties and apartment complexes as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous hands-on experience in landscaping, maintenance, construction, renovations, or related trades.
• Ability to work independently without extensive training or supervision.
• Spanish-speaking ability is strongly preferred to support communication with our team and customers.
• Reliable transportation to job sites is preferred.
• Flexible daytime availability and the ability to respond to work requests when available.
• Dependable, hardworking, and willing to handle a variety of tasks.
• Ability to follow safety instructions and use tools properly.
• Must be comfortable with an on-call, as-needed work arrangement.

Schedule

• On-call and as-needed work.
• No guaranteed or fixed weekly schedule.
• Hours and job locations will vary depending on project demand.
• Applicants must communicate their availability and be able to accept assignments when available.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
