He kōrero mō te tūranga | The Role

• Prepare and clean emergency housing properties between tenancies.
• Carry out minor maintenance and repair work to keep properties safe and functional.
• Set up homes, including furniture assembly and appliance installation.
• Maintain communal areas, grounds, and outdoor spaces to a high standard.
• Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to support property maintenance.
• Support tenant moves and ensure homes are welcoming and ready for occupancy.
• Assist tenancy manager with tasks (as required)

He kōrero mōu | About You

• Previous experience in cleaning, property maintenance, handyman, or related work.
• A practical, hands-on approach with the ability to carry out minor repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling, lifting, and moving furniture.
• A positive "can-do" attitude and willingness to support the wider team.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and solutions-focused.Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• A full, clean New Zealand driver's licence and the legal right to work in New Zealand.
• Must hold and maintain First Aid certification including CPR (or be willing and able to complete this)
