Job Description:
A+ Enterprises is looking for a dependable, hardworking General Maintenance Technician to join our team. We manage a growing portfolio of residential properties throughout Northwest Indiana and need someone who can handle day-to-day maintenance, respond promptly to issues, and take pride in keeping our properties in excellent condition.

Responsibilities:

• Complete routine maintenance and general repairs
• Respond to and complete work orders in a timely, professional manner
• Diagnose and repair maintenance issues across multiple properties
• Prepare units for new tenants, including turnovers, cleaning, repairs, and minor renovations
• Perform property inspections and identify needed maintenance or repairs
• Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors when necessary
• Properly maintain tools and equipment
• Ensure work is completed safely, correctly, and in accordance with applicable codes

Requirements:

• Previous maintenance, construction, or handyman experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and general property repairs
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Professional communication with tenants, vendors, and team members
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a variety of indoor and outdoor conditions

Preferred, But Not Required:

• HVAC experience or certification
• Previous property management or apartment maintenance experience
• Basic appliance repair experience
