General Maintenance Worker

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Position Summary

Seeking a dependable and detail-oriented General Maintenance Worker to perform scheduled preventive maintenance, routine facility inspections, and equipment condition assessments across multiple facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and structural systems.
• Perform authorized routine maintenance, including filter servicing, lubrication, and equipment cleaning.
• Identify, document, and report facility deficiencies and equipment malfunctions.
• Complete preventive maintenance checklists, inspection reports, and electronic work orders.
• Follow established safety procedures and maintain organized work areas.

Qualifications

• Experience in facility maintenance, preventive maintenance, or building inspections.
• Basic knowledge of commercial building systems.
• Ability to identify maintenance deficiencies and safety concerns.
• Basic computer skills and ability to maintain accurate documentation.
• Ability to work independently and follow established procedures.
• Ability to perform physical duties, including walking, climbing ladders, and accessing equipment areas safely.

Preferred: Experience with commercial, industrial, or government facilities and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).

• Must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite

• Must possess a valid government-issued ID

• Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in varying weather conditions

• Ability to follow safety procedures, work instructions, and site-specific requirements

This position will support day-to-day grounds maintenance operations and requires reliability, consistency, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
