General Manager Associate

Who you are

• We are looking for a candidate with 3-7 years of experience in strategy, operations or consulting
• Fluency in spoken and written English and Spanish. All our company communications are written and in English

What the job involves

• As Associate, you will provide support to our General Manager and Senior Alaners on top business priorities, such as unlocking new growth, driving alignment on strategy and building new processes/standards internally and externally
• This GM Associate role will be dedicated to helping the GM of Spain to grow the market share of Alan in Spain
• You will be highly involved in key challenges for Alan, and will be asked to support high added value tasks for Alan
• As such, we can’t be exhaustive on the projects you will perform as a GM Associate, as you can be asked to help on almost any subject
• Corporate & Governance (support for the constitution of our board packs, market research, key Alaners meetings, Weekly & Monthly Business Reviews...)
• Growth (supporting marketing initiatives, partnerships...)
• Brand & Communication (develop the Corporate brand at major business events, with a newsletter, on social networks)
• Strategy (contribute to the strategic vision of the company, screen markets and competition, produce business analyses, build models of growth, etc.)
• Product (identify and explore strategic product opportunities)
• Talent (sourcing and recruiting)
• Team (organize the Spanish offsites, kick-off and key bonding events)
• In this position, you will get a great overview of the key strategic topics at Alan and will work with the GM on topics that are instrumental to our success
• You will grow exponentially with the guidance of these senior Alaners
