General Manager – Service

We’re looking for a General Manager – Service to lead and grow our service business—driving profitability, team performance, and an exceptional customer experience.

This is a key leadership role responsible for operations, financial performance, and strategic growth across the service department. If you have a strong background in service leadership and know how to build winning teams, this is your opportunity to make a real impact.

What You’ll Do

• Lead day-to-day service operations including maintenance, repairs, and small projects
• Drive service revenue, profitability, and market share growth
• Own P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance
• Build, coach, and develop Service Managers, dispatch, and field teams
• Improve productivity, scheduling, and technician utilization
• Strengthen key customer relationships and ensure high satisfaction
• Support service sales, contracts, and account growth
• Ensure consistent safety compliance and quality standards

What You Bring

• 10+ years in commercial HVAC, plumbing, or electrical service
• 5+ years in leadership managing service teams
• Strong P&L and operational management experience
• Proven track record of growing service revenue and performance
• Ability to lead large teams (50+ preferred)
• Strong communication, leadership, and decision-making skills
• Experience with ERP/CRM systems and Microsoft Office

Nice to have:

• Degree in Business, Construction Management, or Engineering
• Experience with BAS, energy services, or continuous improvement
• OSHA 30 or similar safety training
