General Manager

Position Overview

The General Manager (GM) will provide overall leadership and direction for Go Seven Inc, ensuring operational excellence, financial performance, and strategic growth. Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, the GM will oversee all departments, with a strong focus on distribution and FMCG supply chain management, while fostering a culture of integrity, accountability, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

• Develop and execute business strategies aligned with company goals.
• Drive growth initiatives in distribution and FMCG markets.

Operational Oversight

• Supervise daily operations across logistics, warehousing, fleet, and sales.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.

Financial Management

• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance.
• Implement cost optimization strategies while maintaining service quality.

Supply Chain & FMCG Expertise

• Strengthen supply chain efficiency and responsiveness to FMCG market demands.
• Build strong distributor, supplier, and retail partnerships.

People Management

• Lead and mentor department heads and supervisors.
• Promote employee engagement, professional development, and performance accountability.

Governance & Integrity

• Ensure operational irregularities and integrity-related concerns are addressed fairly and immediately.
• Uphold ethical standards and transparency in all business dealings

Performance Monitoring

• Establish KPIs for operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and financial health.
• Provide regular reports to the Board of Directors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field (MBA preferred).
• At least 10 years of leadership experience in distribution, logistics, or FMCG operations.
• Proven track record in managing large teams and complex supply chain networks.
• Strong financial acumen and strategic planning skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, consumer-driven environment.
