General Manager

About the role

Oversee the company's overall day-to-day business operations across all departments. Translate company goals and management direction into clear priorities, action plans, and measurable results. Ensure all departments are working toward the same company objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to all departments, including operations, finance, sales, marketing, warehouse, inventory, eCommerce, customer service, HR, and administration
• Work closely with department heads to establish goals, priorities, KPIs, and performance expectations
• Conduct regular reviews with department leaders to monitor progress and address challenges
• Review monthly financial and management reports and translate financial data into business decisions
• Monitor revenue, expenses, margins, operating costs, and overall profitability
• Oversee the efficiency of company-wide processes and workflows and identify operational bottlenecks
• Lead initiatives to improve productivity, reduce costs, and improve service levels
• Ensure SOPs and internal processes are properly established, documented, and followed
• Oversee warehouse, inventory, logistics, purchasing, and fulfillment operations
• Lead, coach, and develop department heads and key employees

• Ability to translate company goals into clear priorities and action plans
• Experience working closely with finance teams to understand financial position and profitability
• Ability to identify unnecessary costs, inefficiencies, and opportunities to improve profitability
• Experience overseeing warehouse, inventory, logistics, and supply chain operations
• Ability to lead, coach, and develop teams
• Experience establishing reporting and performance review systems
• Ability to represent the company professionally in important meetings and business discussions
