General Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the overall hotel operation and day-to-day performance of the property.
• Drive occupancy, revenue, GOP, profitability and guest satisfaction targets.
• Develop and implement business strategies to improve financial and operational performance.
• Provide strong leadership across Operations, Sales, Revenue, Finance and People & Culture.
• Recruit, coach and develop a high-performing and engaged hotel team.
• Maintain excellent guest service, brand standards and hotel presentation.
• Monitor hotel performance, market trends and opportunities to drive business growth.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, brand standards, legal, WHS and ESG requirements.
• Manage hotel assets, maintenance and property standards to protect long-term value.
• Build strong relationships with owners, corporate teams, partners and key stakeholders.
• Support other properties and business initiatives when required.

What We’re Looking For:

• 3–5+ years’ experience as a Hotel General Manager or senior hotel leadership role.
• Degree or qualification in Hotel Management, Business or related field.
• Strong experience managing hotel operations, P&L, budgeting and financial performance.
• Proven track record in achieving revenue, GOP and guest satisfaction targets.
• Strong leadership skills with experience in team development and engagement.
• Good understanding of Sales, Marketing, Revenue Management and hotel distribution.
• Strong commercial mindset with a hands-on and proactive approach.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to lead through change, solve problems and drive continuous improvement.
