General Manager

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our resto operations in Jakarta Utara. This is a full-time position that plays a pivotal role in driving the strategic direction and operational excellence of our retail business. Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will oversee all aspects of store management, staff development, financial performance, and customer experience. This role is essential to achieving our company objectives and establishing a strong market presence in Jakarta Raya.

Key responsibilities

• Manage overall store operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and facility maintenance
• Lead, recruit, train, and supervise a team of retail staff to ensure high performance and customer service standards
• Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and revenue growth
• Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, cash management, and cost control
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Maintain strong relationships with customers and address complaints or concerns promptly and professionally
• Conduct regular staff appraisals and provide coaching to support employee development and retention
• Oversee merchandise displays, visual merchandising, and store layout optimisation
• Analyse sales data and customer trends to inform business decisions and strategic planning
• Collaborate with head office and other departments to implement company initiatives and campaigns

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a General Manager or Senior Manager in the retail sector, ideally managing multi-staff teams
• Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
• Excellent financial acumen, including budget management, P&L analysis, and cost control
• Demonstrated ability to drive sales performance and achieve business targets
• Strong customer service focus and proven track record of enhancing customer experience
• Exceptional organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both Indonesian and English
• Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to business challenges
• Proficiency in retail management systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required
