General Manager

About the role

Responsible for the overall management of the student housing, including sales and marketing efforts on strategies and tactics of the properties, and reasonable profit growth for the shareholders. Ensure that the operations of the student housing are in adherence to policies and procedures laid down by Corporate Office and in compliance with local governmental regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Overall management of the student housing
• Overall sales and marketing efforts on strategies and tactics of the properties
• Ensure reasonable profit growth for the shareholders
• Ensure operations are in adherence to policies and procedures laid down by Corporate Office
• Ensure student housing operating procedures are in compliance with local governmental regulations
• Up-keeping of the properties and buildings of the student housing and execution of approved projects
• Select, evaluate and motivate a professional and progressive management teams
• Assist and support in the delivery of initiatives from Corporate Office

About you

• Bachelor's degree in hotel management or related disciplines
• Minimum 10 years of experience in hotel management or serviced apartment management, at least 5 of which must be at Senior Management Level
• Preferably include hands on experience in Front and back of the House operations
• Proven track record of accomplishments
• Good leadership and decision making skills – business minded and big picture oriented
• Outgoing, enthusiastic and diplomatic
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, fluent in Putonghua is a MUST
