General Manager

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all pre-opening activities to ensure the successful launch of the hotel.
• Develop pre-opening plans, budgets, timelines, and operational readiness programs.
• Recruit, build, and lead the pre-opening team while fostering a strong service culture.
• Establish hotel policies, SOPs, and ensure compliance with brand standards.
• Work closely with owners, developers, consultants, and contractors on project progress and hotel readiness.
• Drive sales, marketing, and business development strategies to achieve opening targets.
• Manage financial performance, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
• Ensure all licenses, permits, statutory requirements, and safety standards are in place before opening.
• Lead the hotel through opening and stabilization while delivering guest satisfaction and financial objectives.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of hotel industry experience, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role (General Manager, Hotel Manager, or Resident Manager).
• Proven pre-opening hotel experience, including project planning, recruitment, operational setup, and hotel launch.
• Strong leadership, financial management, revenue generation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with hotel owners, developers, and international hotel brands is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
