Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic Hotel General Manager with Marriott brand experience/select service to lead our hospitality team with passion and precision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of hotel operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence, and financial performance. Duties

• Oversee daily hotel operations, including front desk management, housekeeping, food and beverage service, and maintenance to ensure seamless guest experiences
• Supervise and manage hospitality teams, fostering a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and professional growth
• Implement and uphold brand service standards to deliver outstanding customer service and guest satisfaction
• Manage hospitality operations budgets, monitor revenue streams, control expenses, and optimize profitability through effective revenue management strategies
• Utilize property management systems and technology to streamline the overall guest experience
• Lead human resources functions, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution; to maintain a motivated team
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while maintaining brand standards and cleanliness across all areas of the hotel
• Develop strategies for improving guest relations by addressing feedback promptly and implementing service enhancements
• Coordinate night audit procedures to reconcile daily financial transactions accurately and efficiently
• Maintain effective communication across departments using multi-line phone systems and managerial communication skills to ensure operational clarity

Qualifications

• Proven experience in hotel management leadership roles with supervisory responsibilities
• Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on exceeding guest expectations
• Strong knowledge of hotel property management software
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated financial management experience, including budgeting, revenue optimization, and cost control
• Experience overseeing daily hotel operations, including front desk functions like multi-line phone systems and phone etiquette
• Knowledge of human resources practices related to hiring, training, performance management, and employee relations
• Hotel experience preferred; familiarity with night audit procedures is advantageous
• Strong managerial communication skills combined with leadership qualities that inspire team success
