General Manager — Anna’s Taqueria

Anna’s Taqueria is looking for an experienced, energetic, and entrepreneurial General Manager to lead restaurant operations, build a great team, deliver an exceptional customer experience, and drive business performance.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, takes ownership, solves problems, and is always looking for ways to make the restaurant better.

What You’ll Do

Lead the Restaurant

• Own the restaurant’s day-to-day operations and overall performance.
• Deliver excellent food, service, hospitality, and customer experiences.
• Build relationships with customers and represent Anna’s positively in the community.
• Resolve customer and operational issues quickly and professionally.

Build & Lead the Team

• Recruit, train, coach, and develop employees and shift leaders.
• Set clear expectations and maintain high standards for service, quality, cleanliness, and teamwork.
• Manage scheduling, staffing, performance, attendance, and employee development.
• Lead by example and create a positive, accountable workplace.
• Working knowledge of Spanish required.

Maintain Quality & Standards

• Ensure consistent food quality, preparation, portioning, and service.
• Maintain food safety, sanitation, cleanliness, and maintenance standards.
• Manage inventory, ordering, deliveries, waste, and food costs.
• Identify ways to improve efficiency, quality, and profitability.

Manage the Business

• Take responsibility for sales, labor, food, and operating costs.
• Monitor financial and operational performance and act on opportunities for improvement.
• Create effective schedules and maintain accurate operational records.
• Communicate performance, challenges, and opportunities to ownership and senior management.

Grow the Business

• Find opportunities to increase sales and improve profitability.
• Improve the customer experience and restaurant operations.
• Develop employees and future leaders.
• Stay aware of customers, competitors, and local market trends.
• Support local marketing and community initiatives.
• Bring ideas forward and take action.
