General Manager

Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our bustling ice cream shop. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, managing staff, maintaining product quality, and driving overall business success. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a passion for creating a welcoming environment for both customers and team members.

Duties

• Oversee daily shop operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning of all aspects of the business.
• Manage and motivate staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained at all times.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure the availability of fresh ingredients and supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally to foster positive relationships.
• Manage administrative tasks such as cash handling, sales reporting, and record keeping.
• Collaborate with marketing efforts to promote the shop within the community.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail or food service management, preferably in a similar setting such as an ice cream shop or restaurant.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food service establishments.
• Organizational skills with attention to detail in managing operations and inventory.
• Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
