General Manager

Job Qualifications:

• Graduate of Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance, Operations, Engineering, or a related field.

• With proven experience in General Management, Operations, Business Development, or P&L Management.

• Experience in cold storage, warehousing, logistics, food manufacturing, or a related industry is an advantage.

• Strong leadership and people management skills, good communication and negotiation skills.

• Able to manage multiple priorities and make business decisions independently.

• Knowledge of NMIS, BFAR, and BPI requirements is an advantage.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage the overall business performance and profitability of the cold storage facility.
• Develop strategies to increase revenue, facility occupancy, and profitability.
• Lead efforts to acquire new clients and maintain good relationships with existing clients.
• Monitor pricing and ensure proper rate realization.
• Manage operating costs and ensure efficient use of company resources.
• Prepare and monitor budgets, financial reports, and business targets.
• Review business and operational data to identify areas for improvement.
• Work closely with the Operations and Technical teams to ensure efficient facility operations.
• Monitor equipment, maintenance, utility, and other operating costs.
• Ensure that the facility meets all required NMIS, BFAR, and BPI regulations, permits, and accreditation requirements.
• Address operational, financial, and compliance issues promptly.
• Lead and manage employees, set performance expectations, and ensure accountability.
• Provide regular business performance updates and recommendations to Management
• Perform other related duties as may be assigned.
