The role translates strategic objectives into business growth, operational excellence, and sustainable financial performance — partnering with Executive Management at both strategic and operational levels.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the strategic direction and annual business plan for the assigned portfolio.
• Own business growth and revenue generation, including customer acquisition, market expansion, and partnership development.
• Build a strong business development pipeline and lead high-value proposals, pitches, and negotiations.
• Manage senior relationships across government, private sector, development organisations, and clients, and represent FCIS at high-level forums.
• Provide oversight of business operations — setting KPIs and service standards, and driving efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Own the portfolio's financial performance: budgets, revenue targets, forecasts, profitability, and cash flow.
• Work with Product and Technology teams to keep solutions aligned with market and customer needs.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members and functional leads, building a high-performing, accountable team.
• Prepare management reports and provide Executive Management with insights, recommendations, and action plans.
• Manage financial, operational, commercial, reputational, and compliance risks.
• Lead major strategic projects, transformation initiatives, and change management.

Requirements:

• Minimum of a BSC qualification
• Minimum of 6 years of previous experience in a similar role
