General Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead our restaurant operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of food service management, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role requires overseeing daily restaurant functions, managing staff, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining operational excellence in a fast-paced environment. The General Manager will play a pivotal role in driving business growth, maintaining high-quality service, and fostering a positive team culture.

Duties

• Lead and supervise all restaurant operations, including food preparation, service, and kitchen management.
• Oversee inventory control, ordering supplies, and managing food and beverage costs.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and sanitation regulations.
• Manage POS systems for accurate cash handling and sales reporting.
• Train, develop, and motivate staff to deliver outstanding customer service and uphold company standards.
• Handle staffing responsibilities including interviewing, hiring, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
• Monitor daily financials, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue management.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through quality service and effective problem resolution.
• Coordinate with culinary teams to ensure consistency in food quality and presentation.
• Implement marketing initiatives to promote the restaurant’s offerings and increase patronage.
• Ensure smooth shift management by overseeing staff performance during peak hours.
• Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, training & development, and leadership growth.

Experience

• Proven management experience in quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments.
• Extensive background in food industry operations including food handling, safety protocols, and kitchen management.
• Experience with POS systems.
• Demonstrated success in supervising teams within hospitality or restaurant settings.
• Strong knowledge of food production, catering, banquet services, or hotel/culinary experience is advantageous.
• Prior experience in managing budgets, inventory control, and cost analysis.
• Skilled in staff training & development with a focus on leadership in hospitality management roles.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally. Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
