General Manager

Key Responsibilities

· Oversee the company’s overall operations, including construction projects, workshop/fabrication activities, and module building projects.

· Lead project planning and execution from initial preparation through completion and handover.

· Monitor project progress, quality, cost, manpower, materials, and schedule.

· Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, Supervisors, Estimators, Workshop teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.

· Review project budgets, BOQ, cost estimates, quotations, and project profitability.

· Ensure projects are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, schedules, budgets, and quality standards.

· Develop and maintain good relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, and other business partners.

· Identify and develop new business opportunities in the construction, engineering, workshop, and module building sectors.

· Review tenders, project opportunities, and commercial proposals together with the relevant teams.

· Monitor company and project financial performance and ensure effective cost control.

· Develop and improve operational procedures, work processes, and project management systems.

· Lead, manage, and develop the company’s teams to achieve operational and business targets.

· Ensure compliance with applicable safety requirements, company policies, and relevant regulations.

· Report overall business and project performance to the company management/owners and provide recommendations for improvement and business growth.

Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Management, or a related field.

· Minimum 5–8 years of experience in construction, engineering, fabrication, workshop, or a related industry, with proven managerial or leadership experience.

· Strong understanding of construction project management, workshop/fabrication, and/or module building processes.

· Good understanding of BOQ, quantity take-off, cost estimation, budgeting, and project cost control.

· Strong leadership, negotiation, communication, and decision-making skills.

· Able to manage multiple projects and coordinate different teams effectively.

· Strong business development and client relationship management skills.

· Good understanding of project schedules, quality requirements, and HSE standards.

· Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
