General Manager

Join one of the nation's top-ranked drywall and paint contractors recognized nationally for seven consecutive years on the industry's Top 50 Contractors list. This is an established, multi-state, well-capitalized organization with decades of history and a reputation built on integrity, quality, and service. We're growing our footprint in the Nashville market and looking for a General Manager to lead the charge.

The Role

As General Manager, you'll own full P&L responsibility and day-to-day operational leadership for our Nashville-area drywall and paint business, covering multifamily and single-family residential projects. This isn't a lateral title change it's a real seat running your own operation, with the backing and resources of a national organization behind you.

What You'll Do

• Build and manage relationships with general contractors, developers, and homebuilders
• Recruit, develop, and lead a team of project managers, superintendents, and field staff
• Oversee subcontractor and vendor management, scheduling, and quality control
• Drive business development and growth strategy for the local market

What We're Looking For

We're open to candidates from a few different backgrounds:

• A GM (or higher) 5+ years in drywall/paint leadership, with at least 2 years in residential
• A Senior Project Manager from a drywall/paint trade contractor or a residential general contractor
• An Area Manager (or higher) from a homebuilder doing 20+ homes a year

Required across the board:

• A real field leadership background superintendent, PM, or GM level

Salary:

90,000-150k (DEO)
