The Role
We're looking for an energetic, experienced General Manager to take full ownership of day-to-day operations at Safestay Brighton. You'll lead the property team, protect high standards of guest satisfaction, manage operational performance and create a welcoming, vibrant atmosphere in one of the UK's most dynamic coastal cities.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational leadership across Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance and Health & Safety
• Creating a warm, inclusive guest experience that reflects the Safestay spirit
• Recruiting, training, motivating and mentoring the team
• Managing budgets, labour costs and operating expenses in coordination with central operations
• Ensuring strict compliance with health, safety, fire and licensing standards

About You

• Proven experience as a General Manager or Senior Manager in hospitality (hostels or boutique hotels preferred)
• Enthusiastic, positive and a natural leader who stays calm under pressure
• Hands-on: comfortable leading from the front and resolving guest issues quickly
• Sound knowledge of hostel or hotel operations, health and safety, and team leadership
