Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of store operations, including sales, customer service, inventory control, and staff supervision.
• Develop and implement strategies to meet sales targets and enhance overall store performance.
• Recruit, interview, train, and develop team members to ensure they deliver outstanding customer experiences.
• Oversee employee orientation programs, ongoing training & development initiatives, and performance evaluations.
• Manage payroll processing, bookkeeping, budgeting, and purchasing activities to optimize operational efficiency.
• Maintain strong vendor relationships through effective negotiation and purchasing strategies.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety regulations, and POS (Point of Sale) system protocols.
• Handle cash management duties including cashiering, cash handling procedures, and reconciliation.
• Monitor inventory levels through inventory management systems; conduct stock audits and control shrinkage.
• Supervise shift management to ensure smooth daily operations while maintaining high standards of customer service.
• Utilize retail math skills for pricing strategies, sales analysis, and financial reporting to support business growth.
• Foster a positive team environment by providing leadership in retail management practices such as merchandising, stocking, and promotional displays.

Skills

• Proven experience in retail store management with strong supervisory skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent negotiation abilities coupled with effective communication skills for team leadership and vendor relations.
• Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are highly desirable for engaging diverse customer bases.
• Demonstrated proficiency in recruiting, interviewing, onboarding new employees, and managing payroll & bookkeeping tasks.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask across inventory management, sales tracking, and operational duties.
• Knowledge of POS systems, retail math calculations including pricing & sales analysis, and inventory control techniques.
• Experience with wireless sales or grocery store environments is a plus but not required.
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during shift management periods.
• Ability to train staff on customer service excellence, phone etiquette, cashiering procedures, and operational standards.
• Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork while managing employee orientation and development programs effectively.
