General Manager

QUAD Industries is an American manufacturer of fluid film bearings for major U.S. defense systems, turbine equipment, and industrial infrastructure. We’re looking for a General Manager to lead our small team through the growth we’re in and keep us on time for our customers.

You’ll own day-to-day plant performance at our Bradford, TN shop: production, quality, delivery, people, and the floor rhythm that makes the schedule hold. This is a hands-on GM role in a small manufacturing company — not a corporate desk job.

What you’ll do

• Run the plant for on-time delivery, quality, and throughput

• Lead and develop a small production team across shifts as needed

• Own the schedule, backlog priorities, and customer commitments

• Work with purchasing, engineering, and the floor to clear blockers fast

• Build simple, durable processes as volume grows

• Report clearly on what’s shipping, what’s late, and what needs a decision

What we’re looking for

• Plant / operations leadership in a small or mid-size manufacturing shop

• Came up through production (machining, tool & die, fabrication, or similar) — not only office ops

• Comfortable on the floor and in the plan; can lead people without layers of staff

• Strong on delivery discipline, quality, and shop communication

• Prefer experience in metalworking, CNC, bearings, or precision manufacturing
