Core Experience & Track Record

• Proven success as a General Manager (or strong AGM ready for GM) in a high-volume, full-service or fast-casual concept Must have experience in a busy, high-energy environment with strong sales and profitability.
• Demonstrated P&L ownership with a track record of consistently hitting or exceeding targets in food cost, labor cost, and overall prime cost.
• Experience building and scaling teams - in a multi-unit or growth-oriented company where you helped develop systems, people, and processes for future locations.

Leadership & Coaching Excellence

• Exceptional coaching and people development skills: Ability to mentor, develop, and promote from within. You must turn good employees into great leaders (shift leads managers future GMs).
• High emotional intelligence and the ability to motivate high-performing teams in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining positive culture and low turnover.
• Hands-on leadership style - leads by example on the floor, jumps in during peaks, but knows when to step back and develop others rather than micromanage.
• Strong conflict resolution, performance management, and accountability skills.

Operational & Financial Mastery

• Deep knowledge of front-of-house and back-of-house operations, including food safety (ServSafe or equivalent required), inventory management, labor scheduling, and quality control for BBQ/smoked meats and kitchen execution.
• Financial acumen: Expert at reading and acting on P&Ls, forecasting, cost controls, and driving profitability without sacrificing guest experience or team morale.
• Ability to implement and maintain systems and processes that create consistency across shifts and future locations (recipes, standards, checklists, training programs).

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or Business (not required if track record is strong).
• Familiarity with modern restaurant technology (POS, inventory software, scheduling tools).
