Position Overview

A leading international medical device organisation is seeking a senior commercial leader to join its Finnish business as CEO . This is a confidential leadership appointment with full responsibility for the Finnish business and a key role in driving its continued growth and development.

The position will lead the local organisation, shape and execute the commercial strategy, and build strong relationships with customers and key healthcare stakeholders. Working closely with international and regional leadership, the CEO will have significant influence over the direction and performance of the Finnish business, with the opportunity to further strengthen its market position and identify new avenues for growth.

Key responsibilities

• Take overall leadership responsibility for the Finnish business, with the title of CEO .
• Develop and execute the commercial strategy to deliver sustainable growth and profitability.
• Lead, motivate and develop the local organisation, creating a high-performing and engaged team.
• Own the Finnish P&L and ensure strong financial and operational performance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, healthcare stakeholders and external partners.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to further strengthen the company's position in the Finnish market.
• Work closely with international and regional leadership to align local priorities with broader business objectives.
• Ensure effective execution of commercial initiatives and maintain a strong customer-centric approach.
• Represent the organisation externally and build its profile and reputation within the Finnish healthcare and medical device market.
• Contribute to the wider strategic development of the business as part of the international leadership team.

Ideal candidate profile

• Strong senior commercial leadership experience within medical devices environment .
• Proven track record of delivering business growth and commercial performance .
• Experience with full or significant P&L responsibility and ownership of a country, business unit or substantial commercial operation.
• Strong people leadership experience, with the ability to build, develop and motivate high-performing teams.
• Established understanding of the Finnish healthcare and medical device market , with strong customer and stakeholder relationships.
• Strategic and commercially minded, while comfortable operating in a hands-on, entrepreneurial environment.
• Strong ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders across an international, matrix organisation.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Fluent in English and Finnish .
