GENERAL MANAGER

The Kansas City Club is seeking an accomplished General Manager to help launch and lead a distinctive private social club in Kansas City.

This is a rare opportunity for a hospitality executive who wants more than another management position.

You will help build an institution.

The Kansas City Club is being developed around exceptional hospitality, elevated food and beverage, meaningful member relationships, private events, professional networking, and an uncompromising commitment to service.

We are looking for a leader capable of turning that vision into an exceptional daily operating experience.

THE OPPORTUNITY

As General Manager, you will serve as the club’s operating leader and will work closely with ownership and the leadership team to establish the culture, standards, systems, and team that will define the Kansas City Club.

Your leadership will encompass:

• Pre-opening planning and execution

• Member experience and relationship management

• Food & beverage operations

• Private dining and events

• Leadership team development

• Recruiting and staff development

• Training and certification

• Financial and operational performance

• Purchasing and inventory controls

• Vendor relationships

• Club programming and member engagement

• Service standards and recovery

• Facilities, security, and operational readiness

We're seeking an experienced hospitality leader with a proven record of leading sophisticated operations and developing exceptional teams.

Private club experience is highly valued, including:

• City clubs

• Country clubs

• Luxury hotels and resorts

• High end restaurants

• Boutique hospitality

• Membership driven organizations

• Pre-opening operations

The ideal candidate combines executive presence with genuine hospitality.

You should be equally comfortable discussing member relationships, employee development, service standards, food and beverage, labor, budgets, purchasing, and operating results.

Most importantly, you understand that exceptional private club hospitality is about anticipating needs, building relationships, protecting discretion, and creating experiences members want to return to.
