General Manager

We are looking for an experienced General Manager to run The Star by Liverpool Street .

Located right by Spitalfields, The Star is a high-volume, high-energy venue featuring killer cocktails, live DJs, and private karaoke rooms. We need a commercial, hands-on leader to drive the business forward, manage the day-to-day operations, and lead a large team.

The Role:

• Operations & P&L: Take full ownership of venue performance, financial targets, labour control, stock, and compliance.
• Sales & Bookings: Drive mid-week corporate trade, private room hires, and weekend party packages.
• Team Leadership: Hire, train, and develop a strong front-of-house and bar team.
• Floor Presence: Lead from the front during peak trading hours, ensuring high standards of service and guest experience.

What We Are Looking For:

• Proven experience as a General Manager in high-volume London pubs, bars, or late-night entertainment venues.
• Strong commercial acumen with a solid track record of managing P&Ls and hitting targets.
• High energy, resilient, and comfortable managing a busy, multifaceted operation.
• Experience with private hire or entertainment-led concepts is a major plus.
