General Manager

We are looking for an exceptional General Manager to lead Hakkasan Dubai , part of Hakkasan Group, home to the international acclaimed Hakkasan, Yauatcha, and Ling Ling brands.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven and people focused hospitality leader to take ownership of a globally recognised luxury dining destination. You will oversee all aspects of the operation, delivering exceptional guest experiences, strong financial performance, and a high-performing team culture in line with Hakkasan Group standards.

This role is suited to a dynamic, hands-on leader who thrives in high-volume luxury hospitality environments and has a passion for delivering world-class dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the full restaurant operation, with accountability for guest experience, financial performance, team culture, and operational excellence
• Champion exceptional luxury hospitality standards, delivering personalised, seamless, and memorable experiences for all guests, including VIP and high-profile clientele
• Inspire, coach, and develop a high performing, multicultural team across front of house, kitchen, bar, and lounge operations
• Drive commercial performance through strategic planning, labour management, cost control, and revenue optimisation
• Maintain exceptional standards across service, atmosphere, cleanliness, maintenance, and operational execution
• Uphold Hakkasan’s internationally recognised brand standards while adapting to the local market and guest expectations
• Partner with corporate teams on marketing initiatives, brand activations, events, and business development opportunities
• Ensure full compliance with local health & safety, licensing, labour regulations, and company policies
• Build a positive, high-performing culture focused on employee engagement, retention, and succession planning

What We’re Looking For

• 5-8 years’ experience in luxury or fine-dining restaurant management, including at least 3 years as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager of a high-volume, branded venue
• Experience within Michelin-starred, Michelin-recognised, or comparable award-winning restaurants, Asian or modern Cantonese cuisine experience is a strong advantage
• Previous experience in the UAE or GCC market, ideally within a five—star hotel or integrated resort
• Proven ability to lead and develop multicultural teams of 50 or more, with a hands-on leadership style of strong floor presence
• Strong commercial acumen, with experience managing budgets, profitability, and complex restaurant operations
• An uncompromising commitment to luxury hospitality, guest recognition, and exceptional service standards
• Experience hosting VIP and high net worth guests, managing guest feedback, and delivering effective service recovery
• Strong knowledge of fine-dining service, mixology, wine, and beverage pairing. Understanding of Forbes Standards is an advantage
• Experience with internationally recognised hospitality brands, maintaining global standards while adapting to local market expectations
