Qualification: B. Tech in Civil / M. Tech
Experience: 15–20 Years (Industrial Construction Projects is mandatory)

About the Role

VIDE Engineering Consultants Private Limited is looking for an experienced General Manager – Projects to lead and manage industrial engineering and construction projects from planning through execution and completion. The candidate will be responsible for project strategy, client coordination, team management, quality, cost, schedule, and overall project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage multiple industrial projects from concept to completion.
• Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements.
• Ensure projects are completed within the approved time, cost, quality, and safety standards.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, structural, civil, MEP, and other engineering teams.
• Monitor project progress and take corrective actions to avoid delays.
• Review project drawings, technical specifications, BOQs, estimates, and tender documents.
• Conduct regular project review meetings with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders.
• Manage project risks and resolve technical, commercial, and execution-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with applicable NBC, IS Codes, statutory requirements, and industry standards.
• Monitor contractor and vendor performance.
• Oversee quality control and ensure adherence to project specifications.
• Manage project budgets and control costs.
• Prepare and present project status reports to senior management.
• Support business development by providing technical and project execution inputs.
• Develop and mentor project managers, engineers, and project teams.
• Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of project records for future reference.

Preferred Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in managing large-scale industrial projects, such as manufacturing facilities, warehouses, factories, infrastructure, or similar engineering projects. The candidate should demonstrate strong leadership capabilities and the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and deliver projects successfully.
