This growing aerospace and defence organisation manufactures critical precision components for major aviation customers. Its established operation is entering an exciting period of investment, increasing demand and expansion into larger bearing sizes.

The General Manager will take full P&L ownership of a high-volume precision bearing business, improving operational performance while delivering ambitious growth plans.

As the General Manager your responsibilities will include

• Owning revenue, margins, working capital, cash flow and capital investment
• Leading precision machining, CNC, turning, milling, grinding, production and supply chain operations
• Improving throughput, on-time delivery, cost, quality and Lean manufacturing practices
• Delivering capacity expansion through new equipment, additional floor space and production ramp-up
• Developing teams, strengthening aerospace customer relationships and improving commercial performance

As the General Manager you will bring

• Experience as a General Manager, Plant Manager or Business Unit Leader with P&L responsibility
• Leadership experience in high-volume, precision or high-reliability manufacturing
• A track record of capacity expansion, equipment investment or production ramp-up
• Strong financial judgement across pricing, profitability, budgets and capital allocation
• Hands-on leadership, continuous improvement expertise and the ability to build accountable teams

Bearing industry, precision machining or aerospace manufacturing experience is advantageous, not essential. The priority is a leader who can establish structure, execute improvements and scale production without disrupting existing customer commitments.

The General Manager will have the autonomy to modernise operations, invest in capability and shape a high-performing culture, supported by a growing parent organisation.
