Job Type: Full-time, salaried

Company Overview

We are a fast-growing water, fire and mold mitigation company built on exceptional customer experience and operational excellence.

In the last five years, IRS has grown from 3 locations to 40+. We got here by obsessing over service quality, integrity and professionalism, so every customer gets a five-star experience during some of the most stressful moments of their lives.

We are opening new locations and need strong operators to run them.

Mission: To improve the lives of homeowners, partners and IRS team members by delivering exceptional restoration services with integrity, professionalism and uncompromising customer care.

Purpose: To redefine how homeowners experience and trust contractors by setting a higher standard for transparency, service and accountability in the restoration industry.

Core Values

  • Hunger – We pursue growth relentlessly, personally, professionally and operationally. We own results, keep improving and refuse to settle for average.
  • Leanness – We operate efficiently and responsibly, cutting waste and putting resources where they create the most value. Simple processes, disciplined execution and smart decisions drive sustainable growth.
  • Gratitude – We serve with humility and appreciation for our customers, teammates and partners. Trust is earned through consistent care and follow-through.

The Opportunity

As General Manager, you will open and run a new IRS branch. You get the stability of a strong base salary, a direct share in the profit you help create, and the backing of a proven company, without having to put up your own money.

You will be the leader on the ground: running the crews, taking care of customers, keeping jobs moving and paperwork clean, and delivering solid margins.

Position Summary

The General Manager is responsible for the day-to-day success of a new IRS location, from first jobs to a profitable, well-run branch.

Success in this role looks like:

  • Healthy, consistent job margins
  • A branch that grows into a leading restoration provider in its market

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership

  • Recruit, hire, train and lead technicians and office staff
  • Set clear expectations, coach performance and handle discipline and terminations when needed
  • Build a culture that lives the IRS core values
  • Develop crew leads who can run jobs independently

Customer Care

  • Make sure every customer receives a five-star experience from first call to final walkthrough
  • Be the point of escalation for customer concerns and resolve them quickly and fairly
  • Keep homeowners, adjusters and property managers informed throughout each job

Documentation & Paperwork

  • Ensure job documentation (photos, moisture readings, drying logs, signed forms) is complete and accurate
  • Get estimates, invoices and supporting paperwork submitted on time
  • Work with headquarters on Xactimate scopes and insurance billing to keep collections moving

Financial Performance

  • Run healthy job margins by managing labor, materials, equipment and subcontractor costs

Compensation & Benefits
