General Manager

Lanigans Group is hiring!

• We are hiring for a General Manager position at one of our venues.

• We are lively venues at the heart of the cities sport and nightlife scene.

• Experience in a hospitality management role is essential for your application.

• We appreciate candidates that show reliability and a positive attitude to work.

• We offer a highly competitive salary in the hospitality sector at a contracted 40 hours per week.

• Our opening hours may vary dependent on the venue, but you will be required to work 40 hours regardless.

• We will be looking to start successful applicants as soon as possible as you will be shadowing to learn different aspects of the role.

• Members of staff and management are expected to work across all of our sister venues if and when required.

• Following busy periods, we gather as a company to celebrate with our staff. (e.g Paddy's Day, Grand National Festival)

• Staff and management receive select discounts at our venues.

• Staff and management get to keep their own tips.

Your role will entail the following:

• Roster creation.

• Shift management.

• Late night shifts.

• Handling and counting cash.

• Maintaining control of busy and dynamic environments.

• Bartending.

• Payroll management.

• Building a good rapport with staff while maintaining a professional ethos.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, hands on candidate who is willing to co operate and adapt to the needs of the business. You must be available in the busy periods of the year (Paddy’s Week, Halloween, end of the football season.)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £34,000.00-£36,000.00 per year

Experience:

• Supervising: 1 year (required)
• Bar management: 2 years (preferred)
• Management: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Personal Licence (APLH) (preferred)
