General Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of store operations, including sales, inventory control, merchandising, and customer service.
• Recruit, interview, train, and develop team members to build a high-performing retail sales team.
• Oversee employee orientation, scheduling, shift management, and payroll processing to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Implement effective inventory management practices, including stock replenishment, purchasing, pricing strategies, and stock control.
• Manage financial activities such as budgeting, cash handling, bookkeeping, and sales reporting to meet business objectives.
• Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems to process transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining excellent cashiering standards.
• Foster a positive work environment through strong managerial communication, supervising experience, and leadership in training & development initiatives.

Skills

• Proven experience in retail store management with a focus on sales team supervision and operational oversight.
• Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases.
• Demonstrated proficiency in recruiting, interviewing, employee orientation, and training & development processes.
• Knowledge of POS systems, inventory management tools, and retail math for accurate pricing and sales calculations.
• Effective management of payroll, bookkeeping, budgeting, and cash handling procedures.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to lead teams confidently and foster a collaborative environment.
• Experience in supervising retail sales teams within the wireless or broader retail industry is preferred.

Pay: $90,500.00 - $103,000.00 per year
