Our client is a fast-growing facilities management company seeking a General Manager to lead field-based operations, drive organic growth and build a scalable, technology-enabled service platform.

This is a hands-on leadership role for a commercially focused operator who can lead teams, improve performance and deliver outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities will include:

• Lead field-based facilities management operations, ensuring safe, compliant and efficient service delivery

• Build, motivate and develop high-performing teams, supporting recruitment, engagement and succession planning

• Drive organic growth through excellent customer service, retention and commercial collaboration

• Implement systems, processes and technology that improve consistency, productivity and service quality

• Manage budgets and performance targets, delivering operational and financial objectives

• Support the smooth integration of new customers, contracts and acquisitions

Candidate requirements:

• Minimum five years’ leadership experience in field service, facilities management or a similar operational environment

• Proven experience in route-based operations, with the ability to optimise workflows, improve efficiency and drive effective service delivery

• Proven ability to grow a business, lead change and improve operational performance

• Strong people leadership, commercial awareness and customer relationship skills

• Confident using technology and data to improve service delivery and efficiency

• Excellent communication skills

• A full UK driving licence and access to vehicle is essential
