General Manager

We are looking for an accomplished General Manager to lead a well-established, technology-driven organization.

The ideal candidate will combine strong commercial leadership, P&L ownership and business development expertise with an understanding of sophisticated engineering and R&D environments mostly but not with defence and aerospace sector.

We are particularly interested in senior executives who have:

• Leadership experience within the defence, aerospace or advanced technology sectors
• A strong sales and commercial background
• Previous P&L responsibility and previous experience as General Manager
• Previous experience in managing daily operations of a mid-large level company including Sales, Operations, Finance and Supply Chain.
• Strong understanding in trade operations
• Established relationships within the Turkish defence ecosystem is preffered
• Experience leading engineering/R&D-intensive organizations
• A demonstrated ability to develop strategic customers and complex, long-term business
• Strong Turkish and English communication skills

Key responsibilities will be:

• Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for the organization, with full P&L responsibility .
• Develop and execute the company’s growth strategy, strengthening its position.
• Monitor and Lead commercial and business development activities, identifying new opportunities while expanding relationships with existing strategic customers.
• Lead complex, long-term and technically sophisticated customer engagements and projects.
• Ensure strong alignment between commercial, engineering,supply chain, R&D, operations and project management teams .
• Drive operational and organizational excellence while maintaining high standards of quality, delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Further develop the leadership team and build a high-performance, accountable organizational culture.
• Represent the company at senior level with customers, partners and relevant industry stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for new markets, strategic partnerships and international business development.
