General Manager

We are seeking an experienced and driven General Manager to lead one of our flagship venues. This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional looking to take ownership of a successful operation while playing a key role in shaping its future growth and success.

You will be responsible for the overall performance of the venue, including operational excellence, financial results, people leadership, compliance, and guest experience.

This hands-on leadership role requires a commercially astute and people-focused professional who can inspire teams, drive innovation, and consistently deliver outstanding business outcomes.

About the Role

As General Manager, you will:

• Lead and oversee all aspects of venue operations

• Drive the strategic vision and continued growth of the business

• Deliver innovation and continuous improvement initiatives

• Achieve financial, profitability, and growth targets while maintaining the long-term integrity of the venue

• Build, develop, and lead a high-performing team focused on exceptional customer service

• Ensure compliance with all legislative, licensing, workplace health and safety, and company requirements

• Maintain optimal staffing levels, training standards, and workforce engagement

• Collaborate with the wider Momento Hospitality leadership team to support group-wide success

• Champion exceptional guest experiences that drive loyalty and repeat visitation

• Lead and support key venue leaders, Head Chef, Duty Managers, and department managers

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• Proven experience as a General Manager or senior hospitality leader

• Strong commercial acumen and financial management experience

• Demonstrated success leading large, diverse front and back-of-house teams

• Exceptional leadership and people development skills

• A proactive, solutions-focused approach to problem-solving and decision-making

• Strong conflict resolution abilities

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• A genuine passion for hospitality and a commitment to ongoing professional development
