General Manager, Customer Business Unit

For our client, we are seeking a General Manager Customer Business Unit to join the team of a leader in the Manufacturing & Automotive space. This role will lead continuous improvement work focused on process discipline, productivity, and measurable operating gains. You will partner with operational leaders and project stakeholders to standardize workflows, identify bottlenecks, and improve execution quality. The position offers the opportunity to create measurable efficiency gains and scalable operational improvements within a manufacturing environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $165,000 – $230,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Manage overall site strategy and change implementation across multiple teams
• Develop and implement new strategies and policies site-wide
• Supervise multiple customer-dedicated teams, overseeing operations and performance
• Ensure achievement of production, financial, and quality objectives
• Conduct monthly and quarterly operations and customer performance reviews

Qualifications

• 12+ years of relevant experience in business and commercial operations
• Proven P&L management and strategy development expertise
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality assurance
• Familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
