My client is a profitable home builder with a proud local legacy. A long time franchisee of an established national network they offer a simpleness and transparency from having completed in excess of 105 homes since inception. They have a formula that works but can also evolve. In the Bay of Plenty they are visible and known, and partner with both quality tradespeople and supply partners to complete bespoke and off-plan design and build assignments. In addition to new enquiry via their long term Sales Manager many of their prior clients have both returned and referred.

This opportunity is to purchase the controlling share of the business, reducing the owners input and and man-hours immediately; relegating them to a position of trusted advisor until such time that you complete the purchase. There is a portfolio of existing builds and new builds to be completed and with a long term contracted build crew in place the opportunity to evolve and grow through working both in and on the business is immediately clear. There are systems and processes in place both through the franchisor and this specific franchise that will make assimilating into this business and using it as a foundation for continued growth straight forward.

We are looking for a business minded and commercially aware “next owner” or investing GM to run and grow with the proud legacy of this business. A husband and wife team would also appeal. Current P & L indicates a decent salary and it’s expected you will reside in and commit to the local market and supply chain as well as take on a local office or show-home. You will have previously run a business at P & L level, and are at a career stage where investing in and owning  / running a business is highly attractive.
