General Manager – Electrical Contractor - Austin, TX

$180,000 – $250,000 + Package

Full-time | On-site

We are representing a growing electrical contractor seeking an experienced General Manager to lead its Austin-area operation.

This is a senior leadership position with responsibility for the branch as a business unit, including operations, financial performance, people, customers, project delivery and growth .

What You’ll Do:

• Lead the day-to-day performance of the Austin operation
• Own budgeting, forecasting, WIP, labor management and profitability
• Lead project, operational and support teams
• Drive workforce planning, accountability and employee development
• Build and maintain key customer and contractor relationships
• Support business development and continued branch growth
• Improve operational efficiency, productivity and financial performance
• Partner with executive leadership on strategy and business objectives
• Maintain a strong culture around safety, accountability and operational excellence

What We’re Looking For:

• Significant leadership experience within electrical contracting or electrical construction
• Experience running a branch, division, business unit or major operation
• Strong P&L and financial management experience
• Experience managing sizeable teams and field workforces
• Strong understanding of WIP, forecasting, labor planning and project delivery
• Proven ability to develop teams and improve operational performance
• Strong commercial and customer relationship skills
• Experience supporting business growth and customer retention

Compensation:
