General Manager (Garment)

Akarsa Garment Indonesia is part of Akarsa Heksa Bersaudara (Akarsa Group), a diversified holding company with business operations across garment manufacturing, footwear, construction, and other strategic sectors. We are currently looking for experienced professionals to join our team as General Manager.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Management, or a related field

• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in the garment industry, with at least 3–5 years in a senior managerial role

• Strong experience in budgeting, cost control, productivity improvement, and profit & loss (P&L) management

• Proven leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to manage end-to-end factory operations

• Familiar with production management systems, quality control, and cost efficiency

• Able to work under pressure and meet business targets and deadlines

• Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and oversee overall factory operations to achieve production, quality, delivery, and profitability targets

2. Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with company objectives

3. Monitor production performance, capacity utilization, and workforce productivity

4. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs

5. Ensure compliance with company policies, labor regulations, and customer requirements

6. Coordinate closely with Production, PPIC, Quality, HR, Purchasing, and Finance departments

7. Manage budgets, operational expenditures, and business performance indicators

8. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
