General Manager (GM) – Pilates

Job Purpose

The General Manager is responsible for leading the overall business performance, operations, and growth of the Pilates business. The role oversees commercial performance, customer experience, studio operations, people management, and expansion while ensuring high-quality Pilates services and strong brand positioning.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall strategy, operations, and commercial performance of the Pilates business.
• Develop and execute annual business plans, budgets, revenue targets, and growth initiatives.
• Oversee day-to-day studio operations and ensure consistent service standards across all locations.
• Monitor key business KPIs, including revenue, memberships, client retention, utilization, and profitability.
• Identify opportunities for business expansion, new locations, partnerships, and additional revenue streams.
• Lead and manage studio managers, Pilates leaders, and other key team members.
• Ensure excellent customer experience and continuously improve client satisfaction and retention.
• Oversee pricing strategies, membership packages, promotions, and commercial initiatives.
• Work closely with Marketing to strengthen brand awareness and customer acquisition.
• Ensure operational compliance with company policies, health and safety requirements, and relevant regulations.
• Build a high-performance culture through effective leadership, performance management, and talent development.
• Prepare and present regular business performance reports and recommendations to senior management/shareholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field.
• Minimum 8–12 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership position.
• Experience in Pilates, fitness, wellness, hospitality, lifestyle, or premium service businesses is highly preferred.
• Strong commercial and financial management skills, including budgeting and P&L management.
• Proven experience in multi-site operations and business expansion is preferred.
• Strong leadership, people management, and decision-making capabilities.
• Excellent understanding of customer experience and service-driven businesses.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
