General Manager Import/Export

FlexStaff is hiring a dynamic and highly motivated General Manager to position our client, a leading logistics company, for further growth. You must also have a business development mindset and excellent negotiation skills to expand business presence in external markets. Responsibilities

• Formulate and execute corporate strategy
• Lead external business development and client acquisition
• Foster talent development and organizational capability
• Ensure sound governance, compliance, and financial stability
• Make company-wide, long-term business decision
• Design and execute strategies for sustainable growth
• Drive results with full P/L accountability
• Create and sustain a learning and growth culture

Qualifications

• 7+years of executive management experience and logistics with a high degree of import/export experience
• Proven success managing in multicultural or cross-border environment
• Customs brokerage experience is highly preferred
• Demonstrated P/L responsibility and strategic planning expertise
• Experience in organizational restructuring or new business development
• Bilingual language skills in Japanese are highly desired
• Working for a Japanese company is highly preferrable
