General Manager-Kartchner Caverns

We’re seeking a dynamic General Manager to lead and inspire the team, elevate the visitor experience, and drive operational excellence across this one-of-a-kind destination.

This role offers the opportunity to oversee a diverse operation spanning visitor services, lodging, food & beverage, retail, and recreation, while creating an exceptional experience for guests from the moment they arrive. The ideal leader will bring a passion for hospitality, a strong operational mindset, and the ability to balance business performance with the unique character and mission of an outdoor recreation destination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead daily operations across multiple revenue streams and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Identify and address operational challenges while working and communicating with Corporate Directors to ensure the consistent delivery of excellent products and the highest level of employee and guest satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with Park contract requirements by actively managing and nurturing partner relationships, driving collaboration and alignment, and implementing company policies, procedures, and training to ensure consistent adherence and operational excellence.
• Mentor department managers and foster professional development.
• Oversee budgets, financial goals, and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with company, park, and regulatory requirements.
• Champion safety, environmental stewardship, and quality standards.
• Support marketing, community relations, and employee housing programs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field.
• 5of management experience in hospitality or retail operations.
• Proven leadership, financial management, and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and POS systems.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, active work environment.
