Role Description The Manager role at Sipsters Soda Shop is a full-time, on-site position based in Kettering, OH. The Manager oversees daily shop operations, including opening and closing procedures, staff scheduling, and ensuring consistent drink quality and service standards. This role is responsible for supervising and coaching team members, supporting hiring and training, and fostering a positive, inclusive work environment. The Manager handles customer concerns, promotes excellent guest service at the drive-thru, and helps maintain cleanliness, inventory levels, and adherence to safety and food-handling guidelines. The position also involves monitoring sales, supporting local marketing efforts, and implementing processes that improve efficiency and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or food service management, including staff supervision and scheduling.
• Strong customer service and communication skills to engage guests and resolve concerns professionally.
• Ability to manage inventory, maintain cleanliness standards, and follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Basic knowledge of point-of-sale systems, cash handling, and day-to-day operational procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team, build a positive culture, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, organized, and able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• Previous experience in drive-thru or beverage-focused environments is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in hospitality or business management is beneficial.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
