General Manager - Restaurant

Duties

• Lead daily restaurant operations, including managing staff schedules, shift management, and ensuring smooth service flow
• Oversee food preparation, cooking processes, and food safety management to maintain high-quality standards
• Manage inventory control, ordering supplies, and controlling food costs to maximize profitability
• Supervise staff training and development, including interviewing, onboarding, and ongoing team training & development initiatives
• Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reporting
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures across all departments
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide managerial communication to motivate staff and improve service quality

Requirements

• Proven experience in quick service & fast food restaurant management or casual dining environments with supervisory responsibilities, minumim of 2 years.
• Strong background in food industry operations including food production, catering experience, bar experience, or coffee service is highly desirable
• Demonstrated skills in restaurant management, team leadership, and hospitality management with supervising experience
• Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; proficiency in cash handling and basic math skills
• Familiarity with inventory control, budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and food safety standards
• Excellent communication skills for managing hospitality teams and conducting staff training & development sessions
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of customer service and food quality
